Both sides scaled herculean tasks by beating Junior Reformers of Prisons 63-61 before Galaxy earned its maiden win of the season beating CYO 58-57 in enthralling matchups.
A team ranked a step shy of bottom in a standing upstaging the second best team is an upset but when the win comes by finishing the game with only three players on the court, then it becomes utterly embarrassing.

Moses Abu and Simon Aphour were on the bench with several others for Tema after fouling out early in the game making their win grander.
The matchup between Galaxy and CYO was another classic as both sides had at each other with frenetic pace and outstanding stamina. It took little more than minutes for CYO to register its first bucket of the night but signaled an avalanche of buckets from the side to tie the score at 13 apiece at the end of the first quarter.
CYO’s Nana Kwame Adjei and Larry Tuafik made key buckets down the stretch to put the team on the brink of a win but Salawudeen Ibrahim and Raymond Affram scored crucial baskets from the three point arc to stay in contention. It was Affram who would get the winning layup with eight seconds left to give Galaxy a 58-57 win.
