Kevin Durant look alike Samuel Odamtten has hailed the maiden edition of the High School and College Draft as great. The Rite Sports Limited scheme has been introduced to give opportunity talented basketball individuals in Ghana the opportunity to earn scholarships to top rated high schools and colleges in the West African country.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com, Odamtten, nicknamed “KD” due to his striking resemblance to Golden State Warriors All Star Forward Kevin Durant, was delighted a unique opportunity of such sort is in Ghana. He said:

“It’s great to have something like this in Ghana because it helps players get admission to school”.

The Junior Reformers of Prisons Forward also stated his intention to play for All Africa University Games Basketball Champions University of Ghana noting he would love playing for the African and Ghanaian champions. The institution’s male team was crowned Team of the Year at the recently held 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards; another Rite Sports Limited event.

Despite playing well, Junior Reformers has not fared well in the second round of the Accra Basketball League Division II tumbling from second place to the lower half of the five team standings.
