An outstanding fixture in the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I between Braves of Customs and Teshie Rangers will be honored later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with the game tipping off at 17:00 GMT.

The tie was originally scheduled to take place in the past weekend but referees refusal to officiate the game resulted in the game being postponed and finally offers the opportunity for Braves to break the extended fallow period the side has been subjected to.

Braves are yet to feature in a league game in over seven weeks whilst Rangers will be longing to have a go at ending its five game losing streak. Teshie made a blistering start to their maiden campaign in Division I by winning two in three games earlier in the season.

However, the side has lost all games since then and barely escaped demotion from the league with Holy Family and Air Force dropping to the lower tier. Point (s) earned in the matchup, which happens to be Rangers last for teh regular season, will see the side leapfrog Holy Family and Air Force in the standings.Braves, who are yet to beaten this season, sit sixth and will look forward to maintaining such form for the remainder of the season.
