Flashlights of Tema New Town and Community 12 continue to sit deep in the latter half of Group A and Group B standings of the Tema Community Basketball League standings respectively after recording damaging losses in Week 5.
Flashlights lost 32-36 to Community 12 in the opening game of the round before Nungua Coldstore, riding on a two game unbeaten streak, extended the run further by putting on a show to trounce Community 2 52-36.
However, Group B’s -which Nungua finds itself in- first position, is occupied by Ashaiman Lions, whose 12 point haul tops Nungua’s point total due to a better goal difference. Lions have also featured in fewer games than Coldstore.
Community 5 leads the way in Group A with six points from two wins in three games with Flashlights occupying the last spot with just three points after winning one of three games.
