Tema Community Basketball League Group leaders Flashlights of Tema New Town and Ashaiman Lions top the highlight plays of the penultimate round of games in the fledgling league.
Group A leaders Flashlights’ dynamic duo of Kingsley Quist and Joseph Boye combined early in the second half to score an impressive alley oop in the tie against Community 12.
Quist and Boye have played together for some time including their quarter final run at Zenith University College during the 2015 Universities, polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
In the next game on the itinerary, Ashaiman Lions 59-31 win over Community 2 was headlined by Lions Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw whose three point shooting exercise drew large applause from fans gathered courtside.
The sharp shooting guard is regarded as one of Ghana’s premier marksman and he showed his immense skill with five made three point shots to down Community 2.
