Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President Ato Van-Ess has stated Iungo World is set to refurbish a basketball court in Ghana’s Western Region.

He made this statement in his address on the State of Basketball in the West African nation as he approaches the one year mark since voted into office.

President Van-Ess indicated the court to be refurbished belongs to a Senior High School in the Region’s capital city Sekondi-Takoradi.

Iungo World is a social sports platform that is due to launch the Iungo App later this year to enhance coverage of sports in Ghana. Members of the platform visited Ghana earlier this year to host basketball camps in various cities.

The GBBA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Iungo World during the visit; the Iungo World Team is expected to visit Ghana again next month.
