Basketballghana.com gathers the tournament earmarked to host regional basketball league representatives and other institutional representatives will run from November 30 to December 10.
This was revealed by Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President Ato Van-Ess in his State of Ghana Basketball Address made recently via the Association’s official page on Facebook.
The address touched on upcoming projects the Association is working to see through and projects that have been completed including the training of table officials to meet FIBA standards.
An upcoming project he touched on was putting together a National Championship that involves league representatives from Ghana’s former set of regions (10) in addition to teams from education institutions such as Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) and Ghana Technical Universities Sports Association (GHATUSA). 36 teams in all will compete in the tournament with 18 teams to be drawn in the Men’s category and 18 teams to be drawn in the Women’s category.
League competition is underway in the Western, Central, Greater Accra and Volta Regions.
