Ahead of the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I play offs; Basketballghana.com can confirm registration of players will take place between Monday September 26 and Wednesday September 28.
The league’s regular season is just a game from ending as Braves of Customs tie against Tudu Magic is yet to be honored but playoff games have been set to take place on September 30 at the Lebanon House Court.
Playoff teams can improve their roster by registering new players for the challenge ahead of what is expected to be an intense and competitive postseason period. Registering players in the course of the league isn’t peculiar to the Men’s Division I as the recently completed Women’s Division had a registration period after the first round.
Eight teams have officially qualified to the playoffs but the final playoffs fixtures are not officially set as the postponed game between Braves and Magic has not been played. A 63 point win for Magic will have the side move up to second in the standings ahead of Tema Youth.
Regardless of the outcome of the game, Braves will end the season on top of the standings having won all eight prior games.
Braves are on track to take on eight seed Teshie Rangers.
