Suncity Braves will look to extend its reign on top of the GSP Basketball League standings for the remainder of the first round as the side prepares to face free falling Sunyani Polytechnic in the final round of games in the round.
Braves who double as defending champions, are expected to beat a Sunyani side that got annihilated 6-25 by University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in Week 6 at the Eusbett Hotel Court as its’ court ungoes renovations.
The unfamiliar surroundings of the league’s newest venue made life a bit harder for the tertiary side.
On the other hand, UENR is enjoying a fleet of wins in recent weeks as the side continues to ascend the chart. It comes up against an equally inconsistent West Siders team that can surprise and disappoint in equal measure.
In other games, Barracks Scorpions will play against Desert Rabbits before bottom ranked LIR Royals take on Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints in the final game.
