Ashiaman Lions to headline Group B in the Campaign Tournament which moves into Week 2 on Sunday, February 19 at the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court.
The Lions feature in the group alongside Tema Heat, Community 12 and Don Bosco Giants for the chance to grab one of two quarter final slots available.
About to make its debut in the Tema Community Basketball League preseason competition, Ashaiman is heavily favored to make the latter stages of the tournament following its high level performance in last season’s league campaign.
Lions placed second after falling to Nungua Coldstore in the finals and had three players make the list All-Star list including Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw and Defensive Player Award winner Carl Kuzagbe.
Coldstore topped Group A games played on February 12 at the same venue with big man Joseph Boye being named Most Valuable Player.
The competition ends on March 12.
