Rite Sports Limited CEO Yaw Sakyi Afari.
Award winning sports firm Rite Sports Limited has paid tribute to fallen legend Matthias Ocloo who passed away on Thursday February 16 after battling illness since late last year.

He passed away aged 71 and played a crucial role in developing players particularly female players in Ghana.

The former CYO, St. Mary’s Senior High School, University of Ghana and Ghana Female National Team Coach was also a leading supervisor for events organized by the firm including the Sprite Ball and UPAC Basketball Championship.

CEO Yaw Sakyi Afari acknowledged Ocloo’s tremendous contribution by stating:

“He has worked with us since 2006 particularly on the Sprite Ball Championship. It’s through Mr. Matthias guidance that the Sprite Ball Championship is what it is today”.

Others including Sprite Ball Coordinator Lawrence Nartey acknowledged the deceased as a father figure.
