Two of Accra Basketball League’s (ABL) six team representation at the Campaign Tournament in Tema has qualified to the competition’s quarter finals set to the staged on March 12.

Tudu Magic and Ghana Navy have qualified from Group C of the Tema Community Basketball League season curtain raiser ahead of opponents AK Rifles and Junior Reformers.

Both teams competed in the 2016 ABL season alongside DC Dynamics, Teshie Rangers and Adenta Leopards; Ghana Police did not compete in last season’s campaign but have done so in prior season.

With the new season set to commence in a couple of weeks, teams are competing in such tournaments to ensure players get in shape when the season begins.

Dynamics, Rangers, Police and Leopards have been placed in Group D and get to play on March 5 for spots in the quarter finals.

Tudu Magic topped Group C by winning all three games in the group and Navy on the other hand won two games but lost 19-25 to Magic to place second in the group.
