Braves of Customs Female Basketball Team lead the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division after picking up a win from two games played.
Braves will not be in action later today at the Lebanon House Court when University of Ghana takes on Fire Service at 17:00 GMT and Ghana Navy plays Tudu Galaxy.
The defending and multiple league champions has amassed three points in the ongoing campaign after enduring a rocky start to the season.
Braves lost 29-31 to Tudu Galaxy before pounding Fire Service 46-26 in the next game to beat Galaxy to the top spot on goal difference; Galaxy lost 29-33 to UG in its second game of the season.
A reversal of fortune put UG in the win column for the first time as a 26-41 loss to Ghana Navy was trumped by an excellent 33-29 win over Galaxy.
