Adenta Leopards impressive start to the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I season has seen the side top the standings after two games played.
Leopards who are playing in their debut season in the elite division, have won two in two games. The side beat DC Dynamics in the opening game before delivering a 53-50 win over Ghana Navy.
Fire Service’ first win in its debut game of the new season puts the side in fourth place behind Tema Youth and Tudu Magic. Magic lost 52-59 to Fire Service to halt a potential winning run in the league after dominating Dynamics in the opening game.
Three sides yet to win this year, Navy, Dynamics and defending champions Braves of Customs round up the standings in fifth, sixth and seventh respectively. However, Braves has played a game less than Navy and Dynamics.
