Defending Champions Suncity Braves headline a trio of winners in the just completed round of games in the GSP Basketball League at the Eusbett Hotel Court in Sunyani.

Braves alongside Sunyani Technical University (STU) and Catholic University College of Ghana (CUCG) recorded wins in the round.

Braves beat Desert Rabbits 34-21 as STU beat LIR Royals 20-16 in the preceding game; West Siders failed to get the better of CUCG Saints in the opening game of fixtures as it fell 32-34 to the tertiary side.

However, the game between University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) and Barracks Scorpions has been postponed to a yet to be known date.

UENR, STU and CUCG competed in the UPAC Basketball Championship a day before the round of games in the league. UENR has qualified to the quarterfinals of the competition.

UENR sits second in the standings after winning all three games played since the second half of the league began.
