Fire Service’ Male Basketball Team’s winning streak has seen the side climb to the summit of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I standings.

The side’s latest win, a 57-44 win over Ghana Navy, was the second win in two games played so far in the season.

Despite losing starting Center Joseph Boye and Point Guard Kingsley Quist to Tema Youth ahead of the season, Fire has been in good form showing very little signs indicating a drop off in talent.

The likes of 2016 High School Male Player of the Year, Dennis Dugbennu joined the side ahead of the season.

Fellow unbeaten sides Adenta Leopards and Tema Youth follow in second and third respectively with Tudu Magic in fourth place.

Magic started the season with a dominant 59-46 win over Dynamics but have since failed to win a game since.

Braves recovered from a loss to Tema Youth in the first game to pummel Magic 67-42 and jump to fifth.

Winless sides Ghana Navy and DC Dynamics fill out the last spots in the standings.
