Suncity Braves clash against Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints headlines this weekend’s round of games in the Global Sporting Projects (GSP) Basketball League at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani.
The clash has the top two teams in the league square off in the headline game of the league. Defending champions Braves lead the standings with 20 points and two points ahead of second placed CUCG Saints.
Another interesting clash has Barracks Scorpions take on Sunyani Technical University (STU) in a game with a lot on the line for both sides.
A win for either side will be vital in escaping the bottom half of the standings as Scorpions lie seventh and STU in last place.
LIR Royals plays West Siders in the third game of the round and a week after sealing a spot in the UPAC Basketball Championship quarterfinals, University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) will be in action against Desert Rabbits.
UENR’s tie opens the round at 15:00 GMT.
