The court is in need of a major uplift.
The poor lighting makes it difficult for players to score .
Fire beat Tudu Magic (blue) in its last matchup.
Reports reaching Basketballghana.com indicate the main venue for the Accra Basketball League (ABL) 2017 season, the Lebanon House Court, is in line for major improvement particularly the lighting system.

Speaking to Ghana’s leading hoops portal, a high ranking official of the League’s board who requested anonymity, said the court is set to have brighter lights than the ones which were used prior to an overhaul currently taking place at the venue.

The poor visibility affects player production and in turn decides games during late matchups in the league.

Several stakeholders have called for other facilities including washrooms/ changing rooms and poor playing surface at the court to be improved.

However, the ongoing change in the lighting system forced the midweek game in the Men’s Division between Fire Service and DC Dynamics to be postponed.

With the exception of the season’s opening game between Tudu Magic and Dynamics which took place at CCYC Court at Kawokudi, all games in both Men and Women’s Division s have been played at Lebanon House.
