The game opens the round of matchups which tips off at 15:50 GMT. Sweeping the best of three game finals series in 2016, Coldstore crowned a successful year by winning the maiden season of the Tema League by beating Lions.
Both teams go into the anticipated matchup having won their respective opening games of the new season over Community 5 and Teshie Rangers respectively.
However, Coldstore will be without new recruit Joseph Boye who continues to be sidelined by a serious knee injury he picked up prior to the league’s commencement; the highly rated Center played for Tema Heat last season.
Korle-Bu Kings play Reformer of Prisons in the second game in what will be Reformers first game of the season.
In Group B, Ghana Navy plays Don Bosco Giants in the opening game before AK Rifles take on Tema Heat.
