Coldstore in action against Tema Heat.
Lions placed second in the league last season.
Ghana Navy was to play John Bosco.
The much talked about clash between Nungua Coldstore and Ashaiman Lions has been postponed following heavy rains which inundated most parts of Ghana’s capital region Accra.

The rains prevented games in the third week of the Tema Community Basketball League to be honored including the much talked about tie between the rival teams.

Defending Champions Coldstore swept Ashaiman in the best of three finals series in last season’s league. Prior to the 2016 postseason, Nungua beat Lions to win the stage’s curtain raiser.

With both teams claiming wins over Teshie Rangers and Community 5 in their respective opening games, the stage was set for another tough encounter between the two.

Reformers of Prisons clash with Korle-Bu Kings was set to round up games in Group A but had to be postponed alongside games in Group B that had the likes of Ghana Navy billed to play Don Bosco and AK Rifles take on Tema Heat.

All games in the league are played at Tema Community 4’s Court.
