The young season has grown since its opening game on March 10 but all teams in the league bar Fire Service have tasted defeat.
Fire has won three games with the latest in a mouthwatering 87-83 win against Tema Youth who were unbeaten heading into the fixture. That loss was Tema’s first of the season and toppled the side off the summit of the league standings.
Fire lies fourth despite the winning run since the team has featured in two fewer games than current league leaders Tudu Magic.
However, the team has the opportunity to creep up on its rivals when it faces DC Dynamics on Wednesday April 19 at the Lebanon House Court.
The midweek tie sees Fire as the overwhelming favorite to clinch another win this time against the winless Dynamics.
Tema Youth’s tie with Tudu Magic will be played prior to Fire’s fixture in what is a battle for the league’s top spot.
