Enan in action for Pillars at the African Championship in Egypt.
Nigerian Premier Basketball League side Kwara Falcons has began the 2017 season on a winning note with a 63-50 win over Nigeria Cutoms.

The Atlantic Conference matchup had last season’s fourth placed side Falcons get a top performance from new signee Mojuba Oyeleye whose 14 points and four rebounds proved vital in getting the win for his new side.

However, the Falcons clinched victory without its best player in last year’s campaign RomeoWilfred Enan. The Ivorian Center was missing in action the same way he was on the team’s official roster for the season.

Last season’s All Star Most Outstanding Player’s name did not appear among the 12 registered names by Kwara for the season prior to the opening matchup against Nigeria Customs.

Per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com, Enan’s situation is complex and is still up in the air since he joined rival Kano Pillars for the side’s African exploits after the Nigerian season had ended.

With Pillars, Enan missed out on a medal at the Africa Club Championship placing fourth in the competition. Romeo has a two plus stint in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Division I with Braves of Customs.

Below is the official list of players registered for Kwara Falcons for 2017:
