UENR to play Saints in All Tertiary affair in GSP

University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) will be in action later today at the Eusbett Hotel Basketball Court in Sunyani as it takes on fellow tertiary side Catholic University College (CUCG) in the GSP Basketball League.

The all tertiary affair could prove to be a key decider in the title race as both teams are locked in the top three spots in the standings. CUCG who go by the moniker Saints, lie second in the standings level on points with leader Suncity Braves but trail the side due to an inferior goal difference.

Should CUCG beat UENR and West Siders beat Braves in its matchup, CUCG will jump to the standings summit and on the brink of winning the league.

The West Siders- Braves tie open the round of fixtures slated for today beginning 15:30 GMT.

The final round of games are set to played at the same venue on April 29. Barracks Scorpions take on LIR Royals and Desert Rabbits play Sunyani Technical University in the other games.
