Thursday night witnessed two great NBA Playoffs first-round series-clinching games, one in the East and the other in the West as the Toronto Raptors beat the Milwaukee Bucks and the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Memphis Grizzlies.

Spurs take series 4-2

Another exciting Western Conference first-round series came to a close after the San Antonio Spurs beat the Memphis Grizzlies 103-96. Kawhi Leonard had 29 points, nine rebounds and four assists, Tony Parker had 27 points and four assists, while LaMarcus Aldridge finished with a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double.

Mike Conley had 26 points and five assists for the Grizzlies, Marc Gasol had 18 points, five rebounds and six assists, and Zach Randolph had a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double.

Raptors through to second round

The Toronto Raptors are the second team on the East to advance to the second round after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 92-89 in a thrilling Game Six. DeMar DeRozan had 32 points, four rebounds and five steals, Kyle Lowry had 13 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Congolese forward Serge Ibaka had 11 rebounds and seven points.

The Bucks were led by Nigerian-Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo with 34 points and nine rebounds, Khris Middleton had 19 points, four rebounds and five assists, while Matthew Dellavedova finished with 12 points, four rebounds and four assists.
