Navy.

Coach Alexander Tindani speaking to Navy’s Female side during a timeout.
Ghana Navy is in line to complete a dramatic turnaround this season as the team is in a great position in the battle for the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.

For a team that completed the 2016 campaign a spot above the bottom rank, being in the position to end Braves of Customs run as champions is a huge achievement.

However, the side can firmly thrust itself into the title conversation should it beat league leaders Tudu Galaxy when the sides cross path on Friday May 5 at the Lebanon House Court.

Galaxy holds a three point advantage over Navy who have amassed seven points in four games played which is two games fewer than Galaxy’s.

The differences in fixtures played could well play into the hands of Navy should it win a chunk of them. Beating Galaxy in the upcoming game is a must for Navy to really hold unto its title credentials.

Fire Service and University of Ghana (UG) will be in action on the day.
