Opoku Ware won the boys division at the Sprite Ball Championship.

The main brain behind ClockWork-an up and coming sports apparel brand-Emmanuel Ekow Amoako has stated designing kits for championship winning sides is a huge source of motivation in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com.

Reigning Sprite Ball Champions Opoku Ware School and UPAC Champions University of Ghana (UG) won their respective titles this year dressed in apparel designed by the fast rising brand.

Amoako, a former basketball player for Koforidua Senior High Technical School (K.S.T.S.) and KNUST, said, “Felt super amazing and motivating too, not sure I can get used to that feeling“.

Opoku Ware beat Mfantsipim School 27-25 at the Sprite Ball final late last year with school’s jersey supplied by ClockWork.

At the 2017 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship, ClockWork designed the winning team’s “Back 2 Back” shirts won before and after the game. UG beat Marshalls University College 41-23 to lift a second straight title.

Plans are far advanced to continue to expand the brand to a household name in Ghana and beyond.
