Tema Community 2 was in the wars on May 7 in the Tema Community Basketball League as it matched up against rivals Community 4.
Despite leading 25-21 at the end of the first half, Community 4 stormed back in the final minutes to nick a 48-42 win over C2 with Guard Emmanuel Kwesi Danso dropping four straight three point shots in the process.
The loss was a sad way to crown a top level performance from the men in red in a contender for the best game thus far in the competition.
However, the side needs to get its head straight right away as it comes face to face with a Ghana Navy side yet to lose a game.
Navy has faced a difficult time in the much acclaimed Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I with no wins in six outings. In Tema however, Navy has fared way better grabbing two wins in as many games.
The tie is the final game of the upcoming round as Group A ties between Ashaiman Lions and Ghana Police and Korle-Bu Kings and Teshie Rangers tip off first.
Don Bosco Giants play AK Rifles in the other Group B game.
