The game was arranged to test the strength of both teams ahead of respective upcoming assignments in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I and Division II.
Reformers held a comfortable lead at the end of the first half courtesy a 45-26 win heading into the second half.
Prisons Center Aziz Mohammed failed to complete a three point play early in the second half with his side leading 50-31.
However, that lead came under serious threat due to Magic’s vaunted three point shooting backcourt which has the likes of Eric Quaye, Gabriel Numarworse and ex-Prisons Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw.
Pobi-Siaw’s converted three point shot reduced the deficit to seven (57-64) with five minutes left to play in the game before Prisons Guard Andrews Ayienab halted the run with a running layup.
Prior to the game, Reformers Junior side lost 58-65 to a select side from Tema.
