Brimah blocks shot as Ernest Aflakpui looks on.
For the second straight year, Ghana is set to have a player born in the West African nation’s name called at the NBA Draft.

This follows University of Connecticut Center Amida Brimah’s recent work outs with Milwaukee Bucks and Utah Jazz ahead of the Draft in June.

The 6 foot 11 inch Center averaged 2.6 blocks per game in his final year with the Huskies and could be a late round pick for any of the sides mentioned above or another willing to bet on the Accra-born defensive ace’s ability to bulk up and grow offensively in the NBA.

Utah has two late second round picks in the upcoming draft while Milwaukee has number 48.

The 2013 National College Champion will be hoping to emulate former Providence College now Fort Wayne Mad Ants standout Ben Bentil who got drafted 51st in the 2016 Draft.

This year’s draft takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on June 22.
