Defending Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I Champions Braves of Customs have assumed the top spot in the standings following a 64-40 shellacking of Fire Service.
The lopsided win was seventh of the season giving the side top spot in the standings following Tema Youth’s inactivity in the last round of games played at the Lebanon House Court .
Braves win gives the side a two point lead over Tema with Fire falling further behind following the 28 point loss to Braves; Tema has a game in hand.
The biggest gainer in the aftermath of the honored fixtures is DC Dynamics who moved from seventh spot to fifth. Dynamics beat Navy 51-51 to climb up the standings while extending Navy’s winless run this season to eight games.
Seventh placed Tudu Magic is yet to feature in the second round thus slips down to sixth in the standings. Below is a full breakdown of happenings in the standings:
