Reformers v Navy in 2016 ABL game.
Fire Guard Carlyn Adjei attempts pass against Navy.

Reformers of Prisons Women’s Basketball Team is set to play a friendly game against Fire Service at the Prisons Court in Cantonments on Wednesday May 31 per reports reaching Basketballghana.com.

The game has been scheduled to keep the team active after missing out on the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division after failing to register in time for the competition’s start.

As a result the team has found it difficult to get busy with their colleagues actively involved in the league. However, the league is set to break on June 2 meaning games of such nature are likely to be played often involving Reformers.

Fire will not be involved on the final day paving the way for the game to be honored. The matchup presents the perfect tune up for the ABL second round which commences on June 15 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The game will also involve male teams from both sides in another friendly.
