Former league Administrator Baafi passed away earlier this year.

Renowned Coach Emmanuel “Rubberman” Quaye headlines a new Executive Board for the Accra Basketball League (ABL) following elections held earlier today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The Tema Youth Coach is joined on the new look board by Chairman Elect Andrew Okoe Bulley, Vice Chairman Elect Michael Ackah who beat out competition from Aurora Commodore-Toppar and Secretary General Elect Avadu Markell.

The Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary General candidates run unopposed since no other candidate run for the available position.

Reports gathered by Basketballghana.com indicate a new Treasurer will be appointed since the position had no candidate stand to be elected.

Bulley had 64 of 65 votes go in his favor; a mark representing 98% of the total votes cast. The Chairman Elect is set to replace former Chair Benjamin Baafi who passed away a few months ago.

Andrew Ackah had 42 of 65 votes in his favor representing 62% of total valid votes cast. Markell Avadu polled 91% as Secretary General Elect and Quaye registered 78%.

The old guard will hand over to new execs officially.
