2015 Ghana Basketball Awards Tertiary Player of the Year Winner Romeo Wilfred Enan registered 10 points, seven rebounds and an assist in Ivory Coast’s 63-92 loss to Mali in the ongoing African Nations Championship (AfroBasket).

The 6 foot 10 inch Center recorded the near double double production in the loss to Mali that sends Ivory Coast crashing out of the competition which moves to the quarter final stage.

Despite Mali big win over fellow West African side, the team could not make it beyond the preliminary stage; that spot has been taken by Nigeria and Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Kwara Falcons player exits the tournament having averaged 7.0 points and 4.3 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per game in three outings for the Elephants.

Enan moved to the Kwese Nigerian Premier Basketball League in 2016 after playing extensively in Ghana’s elite club competition-Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I- and tertiary institution competition-Universities,Polytechnics and Colleges Championship.

In his debut campaign in Nigeria, he emerged a nominee for the Most Valuable Player Award in the division and was named Most Outstanding Player at the All-Star Game.
