Rifles (black) lost for the third time this season against Panthers.
Rangers beat Spartans (green).

Tudu Galaxy takes on Panthers tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in a hard to call game in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II.

The game is one of two scheduled to be honored at the league venue later today with division leaders Ghana Police set to play Junior Rangers in the opening game at 17:00 GMT.

Galaxy and Panthers head to the fixture with the same record; both teams have two wins in three games played this season.

However, a superior five goal difference puts Galaxy one spot ahead of sixth placed Panthers in the 13 team standings for the ongoing campaign.

After making a winning start to the season, Galaxy lost its first game following a 51-54 loss to Junior Reformers of Prisons over the weekend.

On the contrary, Panthers played well days earlier to beat Akatsi Rifles 49-41 for the team’s second win of the season after losing the opening tie.

A win for either side is crucial to improve chances of making it to the top flight come December when the season comes to a close.
