Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was in action last night in the French Pro A Basketball League but could not prevent his side from falling to another loss.

Bentil played 17 minutes in Champagne Chalons-Reims 82-89 loss to Boulazac in the only game played in the league last night.

The loss is Reims third straight fall in as many games and the team’s form has been on a slide since the second half of the season commenced earlier this month.

The 6 foot 8 inch Forward scored nine points, grabbed three rebounds and had an assist in his team’s latest failed effort to get grab a win.

Reims had Forwards LaMonte Ulmer and Karolak Alexandre led in scoring with 15 points and was closely followed by Gedeon Pitard with 12 points.

Lead scorer for the Northern French side Martin Hermannsson scored joined Ulmer and Karolak by netting 14 points.

Boulazac’s Anderson Karvel scored 28 points to lead all players in the game. The remaining teams in the league will be in action tonight.
