Amida in action against Santa Cruz Warriors.
Up and coming Ghanaian star Center Amida Brimah has laid down another impressive performance for Austin Spurs in the NBA Gatorade League.

The lanky defender led Spurs in scoring and blocks en route to recording a 110-100 win over Salt Lake City Stars in its latest outing.

Beating Salt Lake is Spurs fourth straight win in as many games as the side continues to ride high in the second half of the season.

Brimah scored 19 points in the win but narrowly missed out on recording a double double as he registered nine rebounds.

He completed his excellent night out with a game leading five blocks and an assist in 23 minutes off the bench for Austin.

After scoring just two points and gathering six rebounds in his team’s last game in the Gatorade League against Aqua Caliente Clippers, Brimah’s performance is the perfect response.

His mark in the blocks category led all players while his offensive output fell a point shy of tying the game leading 20 point mark recorded by Salt Lake’s Georges Niang.
