Navy has been very good in the Tema League. Navy (blue) blew out Warriors.
Due to unfavorable weather, the schedule for this year’s Tema Basketball League is under serious threat of missing its targeted conclusion period in November.

Following last weekend’s postponement of playoff games, the fixture are still threatened by erratic rainfall pattern witnessed in Ghana’s capital region.

Playoff games between defending champions Nungua Coldstore and Junior Reformers and Ghana Police and Ashaiman Lions in Group A were set to open the knockout phase of the 2017 competition on Sunday September 24 at Tema’s Community 4 Court.

However, the round featuring Tema Heat against Tema Community 2 and Ghana Navy against Tema Community 4 in Group B, were postponed due to rain.

The fixtures have been rescheduled to Sunday October 1 at the same venue with Nungua tipping off against Reformers at 15:30 GMT.

However, rainfall has been recorded on a consistent basis in the past few days triggering fear rescheduled games for this weekend could be affected.

All games in the knockout phase will be played out in a best of three series.
