Reformers of Prisons have produced another stellar performance in its attempt to clinch the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II title.

The team blew away Dunk Knights 91-63 in the last round of games in the division played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The tie preceded Novas Academy’s 52-45 win over Spartans at the same venue which condemns the latter to finish bottom of the standings once the season comes to a close.

For Prisons, the story is totally different as the big win over Dunk is Reformers tenth of the season in 11 games and pushes the team ahead of Ghana Police into first place.

With the win, Prisons have 21 points two more than Police with a game remaining for Reformers in the campaign; Police have two more games to play including a tie against Tudu Galaxy on Saturday November 11.

Spartans miserable campaign has been book ended following the seven point loss to Novas who improve their record to five wins in 11 games.

Spartans have won a game in 11 outings and look set to end the season at the standings basement.
