The tie is scheduled for tipoff at 18:00 GMT at Community 4’s court right after an Under 19 matchup between Community 12 and Community 4.
After knocking out 2016 title holders Nungua Coldstore from the competition and beating title favorite Ghana Police, Lions rolled into the series as favorite to lift the title.
However, Ashaiman got pegged back 54-58 in the opening game and another loss tonight ends the team’s dream of clinching the title after missing out on last year’s crown to Coldstore.
In the four point loss to C4, Lions missed out on a couple of Guards including sharp shooter Elvis Pobi-Siaw who missed the game due to a national call up to feature at the FIBA Africa 3×3 Cup in Togo.
Should the team come through with a win tonight, Game 3 will decide which team wins this year’s title.
