The 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season comes to an end later this week at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The final round of games commence tonight at the venue with a pair of games involving teams that have missed out on qualification to the elite division.

Novas Academy tips off the games with a tie against Junior Rangers at 17:00 GMT with Dunk Knights set to play Akatsi Rifles in the final game.

Rangers headline the ties following the team’s tough battle to make next season’s Division I roster; the side was in a three team battle with Panthers and Navy Warriors for third place behind Ghana Police and Reformers of Prisons.

However, a 49-56 loss to Warriors has all but ended the team’s chances of featuring in the elite division. Playing against ninth ranked Novas could give Rangers its eight win of the season.

After securing its fourth win of the season, Rifles have moved to tenth place in the standings but come up against a Knights side in desperate need for a win to move from 12th spot.
