Braves of Customs members receive Accra Basketball League trophy.
Braves of Customs Male Basketball team-Ghana’s sole representative at this year’s FIBA Africa Zone 3 Club Championship qualifiers- will be in action later this afternoon.

The team is scheduled to play Civil Defence today at 14:00 GMT in Lagos, Nigeria where the seven day competition is taking place.

The tie follows Defence 91-92 loss to defending champions Kano Pillars and Braves 75-61 win over Benin side Aspak in the opening round respectively.

However, Braves head into the fixture on the back of a big loss to Gombe Bulls; Customs lost 57-84 in its second outing in the tournament.

The team will be seeking a bounce back performance from the loss to Gombe and its second win in the competition.

Nigeria has four teams competing as the West African powerhouse has capitalized on the absence of teams from countries in the zone.

Aside Defence, Kano Pillars take on Aspac while Mark Mentors play Bulls in the final game of the round at 18:00 GMT.
