After guiding Tema Community 4 to win the 2017 Tema Basketball League, veteran Coach Emmanuel Essel “Ghanaar” Worbil revealed his secret tactic to clinch the title ahead of Ashaiman Lions.

In an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com following the team’s appearance on basketball television show “Courtside” on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports, the long tenured trainer acknowledged the efforts of his team’s commitment and willingness to be coached.

“The boys were moving on the court…so anytime it gets to third and fourth quarter, the boys get exhausted. You realize that Ashaiman gets exhausted and you realize that now they can’t move they way moved in the first and second quarter then we run over them” he said.

Community 4 beat Lions in two straight games in the finals to clinch the series with C4 clinching a 47-38 win in Game 2 after trailing Ashaiman 6-14 at the end of the first quarter.

However, midway through the third quarter, C4 led by as many as ten points.
