The 2017 Tema Basketball League season is over but plans are far advanced in anticipation for the new season in the increasingly popular division.
Tema’s Community 4 Court will be the venue for the competition dubbed “Campaign Tournament” slated for next month.
Though a specific date is in the works, reports reaching Basketballghana.com indicate the tournament will take place close to the Christmas festivities.
A meeting to decide the final list of teams to compete in the event is set to take place on Friday November 24 at the Court.
Eight teams are rumored to be selected for the tourney and League Champions Community 4 hold a 90% chance of competing.
The team recently wrapped up competing in the league as winners following two straight wins over Ashaiman Lions in the finals series.
Next month’s competition will be the second post season competition following a successful maiden edition earlier this year.
Nungua Coldstore won the competition following a win over Tudu Magic in the final game with Ghana Navy placing third.
