Brimah in action for Spurs.

Despite featuring in seven of eight games for Austin Spurs in the NBA Gatorade League, Ghana’s Amida Brimah is yet to start a game.

The former University of Connecticut Captain has not started a game for Austin since missing out completely on opening night.

The 2017-2018 season commenced with a win over Salt City Stars with Brimah on the bench for the entire duration.

However, he has not missed a game since and is posting five points, 2.3 blocks and 5.3 rebound averages in 17.3 minutes.

Brimah has had to split time near the rim with Matt Costello and Davis Bertans for minutes in Spurs games in the lower tier division.

Bar his unimpressive turnover rate (11 in seven games), Brimah has proven capable holding his own when given the nod and could see time from opening jump ball.

Austin plays tonight against Agua Caliente Clippers at the AT&T Center in San Antonio for the first time this season.

Tonight’s venue is the home of Austin’s NBA affiliate team San Antonio Spurs.
