The team beat Tema Rockets in a one game decider to pick the final team to complete the roster; the game took place at Tema’s Community 4 Court.
Francophone Stars dominated against Rockets which comprised of veteran Tema Community 12 players, Rockets got flat outplayed by its opponent.
The win means Rockets miss out on the big eight team lineup set to do battle from December 9 to December 24.
Francophone joins Tema Community 4, Community 2 and Team Heat, Nungua Coldstore, Ashaiman Lions, Ghana Navy and Ghana Police.
Two groups house the teams with each group containing four teams; 2017 Tema League Champions C4 headline Group A with league finalist Lions headlining Group B.
The first round of games features Ashaiman taking on Tema Heat, Ghana Navy taking on Francophone Stars and Community 4 taking on Police.
The top two teams progress to the semi finals a day before the final game.
