Awudome and T.I. Ahmadiyya captured here at the ninth edition.

Awudome Senior High
Awudome Senior High School has qualified to the upcoming edition of Ghana’s most celebrated high school basketball tournament; Sprite Ball Championship.

The team secured first place at the just ended Volta Regional qualifiers to the national event clinching Volta’s sole spot.

Securing qualification to the national games is the latest for the school after consistently representing the region.

Three Town Senior High School clinched the sole spot in the national female division at the last edition held in December 2016 but miss out on back to back appearances.

Despite consistently appearing at the competition, Awudome is yet to clinch the national title currently held by Central Region outfit Wesley Girls High School.

With qualifiers in the Western and Central regions to be played next week and Ashanti Region completed, Awudome is set to face old foe since Kumasi Girls and T.I. Ahamdiyya Senior High Schools have qualified respectively from the Ashanti Region.

Keta and Mwuli Senior High Schools will represent Volta Region in the male division.
