Brimah in action for Spurs.

Ghana Center Amida Brimah has clinched his first double digit mark of the season for Austin Spurs in his team’s 106-110 loss to Iowa Wolves in the NBA Gatorade League.

Brimah scored 10 points in the loss which is Spurs third on the bounce following similar losses to Texas Legends and Salt Lake City Stars since returning to action on December 1.

The 6 foot 11 inch player featured 26 minutes in the encounter notching ten points and eight rebounds with four coming on the offensive end.

This is a big step for the former University of Connecticut Captain who has consistently flirted with the mark but failed to do so in previous games.

After signing for the team following preseason with NBA outfit San Antonio Spurs, Brimah struggled to produce in limited minutes in the opening games of the season.

However, his impact has seen him feature more on the court in recent games including playing a season high 32 minutes in an overtime win over Agua Caliente Clippers.

Spurs play Santa Cruz Warriors at home tomorrow December 7.
