Five spots for the boys and girls divisions are up for grabs in the Greater Accra Regional qualifiers for next year’s Sprite Ball Championship.

The qualifiers take place on Saturday December 9 at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) and Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon).

Three slots to the national tournament will be battled for by eight schools including hot PRESEC-Legon, PRESEC-Osu, Sacred Heart and St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School.

Two slots are available in the female division where 2016 finalist Accra Wesley Girls High School headline a tough field including former winner Sacred Heart and Tema Senior High School.

(UPSA) will host games in the male division while PRESEC host games in the boys division per reports reaching Basketballghana.com ahead of the games.

Schools from the region missed out on top four spots at the last edition of the national games which were won by Opoku Ware School and Wesley Girls High School in the male and female divisions respectively.

The qualifiers are the last prior to the commencement of games from January 4-6, 2018.
