The Western and Central Regional leg of the exciting Sprite Ball Trophy Tour and Basketball Clinic will take place on Monday December 11.

The heralded event will be held at several stops in the respective regions with Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) and St. John’s School, Sekondi hosting the Western Region phase of the tour.

Mfanstipim School, Wesley Girls High School and St. Augustine’s College have been earmarked as host schools for the tour where students and staff get a closer look at the coveted trophy.

Mfantsipim are the record winners of Ghana’s High School Basketball competition- Sprite Ball Championship- with four wins while Wesley Girls are the reigning champions in the female division.

The Tour touches base in the regions after making similar stops in schools in the Eastern and Volta Regions respectively.

KSTS, Pope John Senior High School, Awudome Senior and Mawuli Senior High Schools were visted and the trophy paraded before large gathering of students ahead of the national competition.

The next Sprite Ball takes place from January 4-6, 2018 at El Wak Stadium in Accra.
