Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) will host the Western Region leg of the Sprite Ball Championship Trophy Tour and Clinic in Takoradi on Monday December 11.

The celebrated school is the next stop for the Tour which has touched based in the Eastern and Volta Regions respectively early this week.

The likes of Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS), Awudome Senior High School, Pope John Senior High School and Mawuli Senior High were visited by the Tour entourage.

Despite not securing qualification to the national games, GSTS will host the event with students set to catch a glimpse of the most coveted high school trophy.

GSTS missed out on next year’s Sprite Ball Championship roster after falling behind arch rival St. John’s School, Sekondi and Takoradi Technical Institute (TTI).

The Giants highest finish at the national games was third place finish at the January, 2013 edition behind Mfantsipim School and KSTS.

St. John’s will host the entourage after the stop at GSTS with “The Saints” aiming for an improved finish on last year’s bronze medal winning exploits.

Sprite Ball takes place at the El Wak Stadium in Accra from January 4-6, 2018.
